 I felt it was important to reach out to all of you following the heartbreaking accident last night with American Eagle/PSA Flight 5342 and the Army helicopter. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, especially since two of our CWA Flight Attendants were on that flight, and our CWA District 2-13 members witnessed the incident firsthand.

In times like these, it’s crucial to remember that we’re all in this together. We’re here for the crew, the aviation workers, and the families impacted by this tragedy. As we always do, our district will come together and support all those in need. 

I also want to extend prayers and a thank you to the first responders who are tirelessly working to manage this difficult situation. Your dedication and bravery do not go unnoticed.
