As leaders of the union, it is important to ensure that employers are following the rules set out in the Occupational Safety and Health Act. This act is in place to ensure that workplaces are safe for all employees. One significant aspect of keeping workers safe is ensuring that they are protected from the dangers of working in hot conditions.
We care about our members and want to ensure that they stay safe while they are working. That's why we must be committed to reminding everyone about the importance of taking precautions when it's hot outside. Our main goal is to create a work environment where everyone can do their job without worrying about getting hurt. We want our members to be able to do their work, earn a living, and then go home safely at the end of the day.
